Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Picking items from shelves according to order specifications and packing slips.

• Operating warehouse equipment safely (trolleys, pallet jacks).
• Conducting quality checks to ensure items are packed correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following health and safety rules.

SOJO CORPORATION SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Batu Berendam, Melaka. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our warehouse and logistics operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our facility, supporting both picking and packing operations, and maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and organisation. This role is integral to our supply chain success and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time and in perfect condition.

What you'll be doing

• Picking items from warehouse shelves and storage areas according to order specifications and packing slips
• Accurately packing products into boxes, containers or other packaging materials using appropriate materials and techniques
• Labelling packages with correct addresses, barcodes, weights and other required information
• Sorting and organizing products by category, size, destination or other criteria to streamline warehouse operations
• Operating warehouse equipment such as trolleys, hand trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Conducting regular quality checks to ensure products are packed correctly and undamaged
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations
• Recording and updating inventory information accurately in the warehouse management system
• Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as required
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking and packing, or similar logistics environment is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in order fulfilment and inventory management
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures without compromise
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software is advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent education level
• Valid identification and willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures
