We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join the team at FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of our warehousing and distribution operations, contributing directly to our ability to deliver quality products to our customers on time. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of organisation, safety, and productivity that our company is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming goods, including checking items against delivery documentation and recording details into the warehouse management system
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer requirements and warehouse procedures
• Organising and arranging stock items within the warehouse to maximise space utilisation and ensure easy accessibility
• Conducting regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with warehouse maintenance tasks and equipment upkeep
• Following all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and storage standards
• Reporting any damage, discrepancies or safety hazards to the warehouse supervisor immediately

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment is preferred
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing warehouse tasks and documentation
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read labels and follow written instructions
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory control software is advantageous
• A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards at all times
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive work ethic
• Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse demands and peak periods
