Job summary

Mega Flour Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor / Executive to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and dispatching of baked goods ingredients.

You will collaborate with suppliers, manage FIFO/JIT, monitor stock expiry, ensure safety compliance, and lead a team of warehouse and logistics staff to deliver reliable service.

This role emphasizes cost reduction, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement in routing and carrier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory control and dispatching of goods.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Manage FIFO or JIT inventory and ensure stock accuracy.
• Monitor stock expiry and coordinate with Purchasing/Sales to prevent expiry.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental regulations compliance in the warehouse.
• Oversee logistics and transportation activities with external carriers and shipping schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics providers for favorable terms.
• Optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery.
• Lead, train and develop warehouse and logistics staff, fostering high performance.
• Monitor KPIs and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.

WarehouseAnd Logistics Supervisor / Executive

Supervise and manage daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory control and dispatching of goods.

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.

Manage inventory using FIFO or JIT and ensure stock accuracy.

Monitor stock expiry and collaborate with Purchasing and Sales to ensure sufficient stock and zero expired stock.

Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations within the warehouse.

2. Logistics

Oversee logistics and transportation activities, including coordinating with external carriers and managing shipping schedules.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery items.

Lead, train and develop warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.

Foster a positive work environment and ensure team members are motivated and aligned with organizational goals.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
