Job summary

Ant International seeks a senior data science and risk policy professional to lead e-wallet risk analytics across emerging markets. You will assess fraud risks, shape controls, and collaborate with product, algorithms and operations.

Must have strong analytics, AI experience, and international exposure; willingness to long-term overseas assignments. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, statistics, finance, management science, computer science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and risk policy; experience in server-side payment, banking, credit card institutions, card networks, or internet companies is preferred.
• Proficient in applying AI capabilities to solve real-world risk control problems.
• Skilled in data mining algorithms, using analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, R, and Python.
• Strong business risk insight combined with analysis and problem-solving skills; excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, able to efficiently drive business objectives forward.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, overseas work or study experience is preferred.
• Able to maintain output quality under pressure, embrace a global team collaboration mindset, and be willing to accept long-term overseas assignments and relocations.

Responsibilities

• Closely follow and understand the business logic and local market characteristics of e-wallets in emerging markets worldwide (e.g., Southeast Asia, Latin America, Middle East), keeping pace with business developments.
• Conduct forward-looking risk assessments of payment products, marketing campaigns, and the full account lifecycle; accurately identify potential fraud risks and implement end-to-end closed-loop controls.
• Continuously iterate the internal risk management framework, policies, and operating procedures to build an agile and efficient defense system.
• Produce high-quality, multi-dimensional risk analysis reports, report to management, and provide data-driven decision-making support.
• Support team building and day-to-day management.
• Through knowledge accumulation and training mechanisms, continuously enhance the team's professional capabilities and organization-wide risk awareness.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of all risk types in the e-wallet domain (including fake/bulk account registration, account/card takeover, identity fraud, Deepfake-based spoofing, transaction fraud, and marketing abuse).
• Lead in-depth investigations of major suspicious cases, reconstruct attack chains and methods used by fraud gangs, and accordingly optimize internal investigation mechanisms, evidence-collection standards, and handling procedures.
• Quickly learn and adapt Ant's advanced risk control solutions, tailoring them with local innovation based on market-specific risk sensitivity.
• Deeply collaborate with algorithms, product, technology, and operations teams to build and refine e-wallet risk control solutions tailored to local market conditions, and develop replicable security capabilities.
