Job summary

Group Bottega is seeking friendly and service-oriented Waiters / Waitress to provide professional dining service and create a welcoming guest experience in our non-halal Italian restaurant in Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities include guest service, menu assistance, accurate service, maintaining room cleanliness, and supporting daily operations with a focus on hygiene and safety. Flexible shifts, weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• F&B / restaurant service experience is an advantage.
• Friendly, positive and customer-focused personality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn about Italian food and beverages.
• Responsible, punctual and well-groomed.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Guest Service – Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Menu & Ordering – Assist guests with menu selections, provide recommendations and maintain knowledge of offerings.
• Food & Beverage Service – Serve food and beverages accurately and according to service standards.
• Guest Experience – Check on guests regularly and respond promptly to requests, enquiries or feedback.
• Cleanliness & Setup – Maintain clean and organised tables, service stations and dining areas.
• Outlet Support – Support daily restaurant operations, events and functions as required.
• Hygiene & Safety – Follow company policies and maintain hygiene, health and safety standards.
