Job summary

FORTUNE VALLEY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Food & Beverage service professional to welcome guests, present menu options, take orders, and provide attentive service in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities include accurate order taking, coordinating with the kitchen, maintaining station cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction through proactive service and upselling where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality and quality food & beverage service.
• Ability to greet guests with a smile and offer menu recommendations.
• Proactive upselling while taking orders and during service.
• Accurate order taking and timely communication with kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at service stations and tables.

Job description

• To provide a high standard of Food & Beverage service to all hotel patrons.
• To greet guest, give menu suggestions, take orders as specified in the standard operating procedures and remembering to up sell wherever possible.
• To ensure all guest orders are taken accurately and efficiently.
• To fire orders to the Kitchen and follow up for serving of food items to guests.
• To ensure guest satisfaction whilst dining at the outlet by constant monitoring and offering additional services as and when required.
• To anticipate guest requirements and offer options where possible.
• To clear, clean and reset tables quickly and efficiently.
• To keep the waiters stations adequately stocked and orderly at all times.
• To maintain a high standard of conduct, grooming and hygiene on the job.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
