Job summary

NIL Technology in Bayan Lepas, Penang seeks a skilled Process Engineer to develop, optimize and sustain wafer stacking processes in wafer fabrication. You will lead process improvements, work with vendors, and ensure high quality, reliability and productivity through data-driven methods.

Required are a relevant engineering degree, 3 years wafer processing experience, and strong data analysis/Lean Six Sigma skills. English and Malay fluency is essential; Mandarin a plus for client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering, Photonics, Physics or Optics.
  • At least 3 years of wafer processing experience in wafer stack bonding, imprint lithography, replication.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, Lean Six Sigma, RCA, DOE, and SPC.
  • Strong measurement and metrology in dimensional, surface, optical and vision-based systems.
  • Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin is an added advantage for client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize and sustain wafer stacking process in wafer fabrication.
  • Review process control data using QC tools and identify trends, deviations, stability and repeatability.
  • Initiate CAPA and collaborate with Process/NPI teams for improvements.
  • Design process documents (FMEA, PCP, WI, checklists) to maintain traceability.
  • Drive Six Sigma/Kaizen based quality improvement initiatives.
