Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan ASK Resources Sdn Bhd is looking for a Vice President / Senior Manager – Compliance & Assurance in Malaysia. You will act as a subject matter expert on policies, lead a proactive regulatory monitoring framework, and drive governance across the group’s operations.

You will oversee audit reviews, regulatory reporting, and remediation of findings, while advising senior leadership on pragmatic risk solutions and fostering a strong risk-aware culture.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in compliance, assurance, audits, or risk governance in banking or financial services hubs.
• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications are advantageous.
• CPA, CIA, CAMS or risk management credentials highly advantageous.
• Deep understanding of internal control frameworks, audit methodologies, and cross-border governance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on SG Group policies and regional regulatory requirements for all units.
• Maintain proactive regulatory monitoring framework and guide policy interpretation.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and engagement across contact centers and shared services.
• Develop and execute the Annual Assurance Plan aligned with Group priorities.
• Own internal and external reviews and coordinate remediation of audit findings.
• Advise senior leadership and deliver risk solutions while fostering a risk-aware culture.
• Step up as alternate/backup to the Senior Division Manager – Risk & Governance when needed.
