Job summary

NTT DATA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a VMware VCF Engineer to join our team. You will design, deploy, and maintain private cloud infrastructure based on VMware Cloud Foundation, collaborating with Cloud, Security, Network, and App teams to support insurance workloads.

The role requires deep expertise in vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, SDDC Manager, and lifecycle automation, with a focus on reliability, security, and regulatory compliance, in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and core components (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T).
• Familiarity with SDDC Manager and lifecycle automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools (PowerCLI, Python, Terraform).
• Knowledge of monitoring and backup/DR for virtualized environments (VMware).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation-based private cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Network, and App teams to ensure secure, compliant platforms.
• Configure and manage vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX-T, and SDDC Manager.
• Implement patching, upgrades, and lifecycle automation.
• Provide troubleshooting across compute, network and storage domains.
