Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a VMware VCF Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, deploy, and manage a private cloud built on VMware Cloud Foundation. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure for insurance workloads and business applications.

The role emphasizes vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T, SDDC Manager, and lifecycle automation, with opportunities to automate provisioning using PowerCLI, Python, and Terraform. Local candidates may be preferred for on‑site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX‑T and SDDC Manager.
• Proficient in automation tools and scripts (PowerCLI, Python, Terraform).
• Strong engineering mindset for designing resilient private cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain private cloud infrastructure based on VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Network, and Application teams to ensure secure, compliant platforms.
• Implement lifecycle automation, patching, upgrades, and high availability for mission-critical workloads.
