Job summary

Linuxconfig in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience to deploy, manage, and support VCF environments.

You will administer vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN, perform lifecycle management and upgrades, monitor performance, and automate deployments with PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform, collaborating with cloud and application teams to ensure reliability and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in VMware infrastructure administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and vSAN.
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, networking and storage technologies.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of enterprise virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Administer vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN infrastructure.
• Perform lifecycle management, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of VCF components.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and availability.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and high availability solutions.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure platform reliability and security.
