Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated machine vision engineer to evaluate, verify, and develop vision systems based on client requirements, ensuring feasibility and reliability.

On-site setup and testing, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to customers are core duties. You will collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver complete business solutions.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; good analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or postgraduate qualification in engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of machine vision is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Keyence programming preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.

Carry out the evaluation, verification, and development of machine vision application systems based on client requirements.

Conduct feasibility studies based on client requirements.

Be responsible for the on-site setup and testing of machine vision systems.

Perform troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to customers.

Work closely with other departments to define requirements for the development of complete business solutions.

Test and debug vision modules, automation equipment, jigs, and fittings.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer Science/Software, Automation, or an equivalent field.

Knowledge of machine vision is an added advantage.

Candidates who are familiar with Keyence programming are preferred.

Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work under pressure.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
