Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled professional to develop vision-based solutions for Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will design and optimize image processing workflows to meet defect-detection and cycle-time requirements, and integrate Halcon or Matrox vision libraries into the overall software framework.

You will define inspection strategies, select cameras and illumination, and perform on-site AOI evaluations and qualifications,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
Senior level requires minimum 5 years experience in AOI/vision fields.
Experience with AOI product development or wafer AOI is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop vision-based solutions for AOI systems.
Develop and optimize image processing algorithms to meet defect-detection and cycle-time requirements.
Integrate and configure vision libraries (Halcon, Matrox, or equivalent) into the software framework.
Define and implement vision inspection strategies including camera, illumination, lens selection, and FOV calculations.
Coordinate and run vision evaluation, characterization, and investigations for samples.
Translate customer requirements into design specs and provide technical expertise.
Vision software and hardware buy-off qualification and reporting.
Support production on machine build issues related to vision.
Troubleshoot and resolve vision algorithm and system issues.
Prepare technical reports, manuals, and guidelines.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and mechanical engineers.
Perform onsite system setup and testing for AOI machines.
