Sandisk Penang is seeking an AOI Engineer to develop, optimise, and maintain automated optical inspection systems for high-volume electronics manufacturing. You will tune vision, lighting, and camera settings to maximise defect detection while minimising false calls, and support NPI and production ramp-up.

Collaborating with Process, Quality, Manufacturing, and Equipment teams, you will drive yield improvements, create AOI recipes and defect libraries, analyse trends, and implement CAPA.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to AOI and manufacturing.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Six Sigma Belt preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimise, and maintain AOI programs for new and existing products (defect detection).
• Create and validate AOI recipes, defect libraries, and inspection standards.
• Fine-tune vision algorithms, lighting, and camera settings to maximise detection and minimise false calls.
• Support NPI activities and ensure AOI readiness for production ramp-up.
• Troubleshoot AOI-related production, yield, and quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
