Job summary

RE:SET MEDIA SDN BHD, a Petaling Jaya-based creative production company, invites applications for a Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling and pacing. You will join a collaborative team, shaping raw footage into engaging narratives across commercials, branded content, and documentaries.

Requirements include 2–4 years of editing experience, a strong showreel, and proficiency in Premiere Pro. After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are a plus; ability to meet tight deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of video editing experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing and storytelling ability.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, composition and music.
• Basic understanding of colour grading and audio.
• Organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of edits.
• Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

We’re looking for a Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing and visual style to join our team.

Responsibilities

Edit commercials, branded content, documentaries, corporate films and digital content

Work with Producers and the creative team from rough cut through final delivery

Shape raw footage into clear and engaging stories

Organise and manage footage, project files and media

Handle basic colour correction, audio balancing and finishing

Manage revisions and incorporate feedback

Prepare final deliverables for different platforms and formats

Maintain organised project files, archives and backups

Manage multiple edits and deadlines when required

Requirements
