Job summary

RISING FUSION SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team in Cyberjaya. You will edit and produce high-quality video content for corporate videos, event highlights, TVCs and social media, while developing motion graphics and animations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is someone with strong editing skills, a good creative eye and the ability to bring ideas to life through video editing, motion graphics and visual storytelling. You will work across a variety of creative projects including corporate videos, event highlights, TVCs, digital billboards, social media content and infographic videos. You will work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers and Designers to turn creative direction into polished and engaging visual content.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Edit and produce high-quality video content from raw footage to final delivery.

Work on a variety of projects including corporate videos, event highlights, TVCs, digital campaigns, social media and branded content.

Create engaging edits with strong storytelling, pacing and visual flow.

Develop motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects.

Create animated typography, titles, lower thirds, transitions, infographics and visual treatments.

Translate creative briefs, scripts, storyboards and references into compelling visual content.

Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute visual concepts.

Perform basic colour correction and grading to achieve a polished and consistent look.

Handle basic audio editing, music editing and sound effects.

Prepare content for different platforms, aspect ratios and screen formats, including digital billboards and LED displays.

Organise and manage footage, project files, proxies, graphics and creative assets efficiently.

Handle revisions and feedback while maintaining the overall creative direction.

Manage multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

3+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.

Strong understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.

Good understanding of motion graphics and animation principles.

Strong creative eye with good attention to detail.

Good sense of timing, pacing, composition, typography and visual hierarchy.

Able to understand and interpret creative briefs, scripts and storyboards.

Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the creative team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.

Able to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work within deadlines.

Open to feedback and able to translate creative direction into effective revisions.

VIDEOGRAPHY — AN ADDED ADVANTAGE

While the core of this role focuses on video editing and motion graphics, experience in videography will be an added advantage.

Comfortable assisting with video shoots when required.

Able to operate professional cameras and understand basic camera settings.

Good understanding of framing, composition, lighting and camera movement.

Experience shooting corporate videos, events, commercials or digital content is a plus.

Able to capture footage with the editing and final output in mind.

GOOD TO HAVE

Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator

Basic colour grading knowledge

Basic compositing or visual effects

Cinema 4D / Blender or other 3D software

Experience working with LED screens and digital billboards

Understanding of video codecs, resolutions, frame rates and delivery specifi cations

Experience working in an agency, production house or creative studio
