Job summary

RE:SET MEDIA SDN BHD, a Petaling Jaya-based creative production company, invites applications for a Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling and pacing. You will join a collaborative team, shaping raw footage into engaging narratives across commercials, branded content, and documentaries.

Requirements include 2–4 years of editing experience, a strong showreel, and proficiency in Premiere Pro. After Effects and DaVinci Resolve are a plus; ability to meet tight deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of video editing experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating editing and storytelling ability.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, composition and music.
• Basic understanding of colour grading and audio.
• Organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of edits.
• Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit commercials, branded content, documentaries, corporate films and digital content.
• Work with Producers and the creative team from rough cut through final delivery.
• Shape raw footage into clear and engaging stories.
• Organise and manage footage, project files and media.
• Handle basic colour correction, audio balancing and finishing.
• Manage revisions and incorporate feedback.
• Prepare final deliverables for different platforms and formats.
• Maintain organised project files, archives and backups.
• Manage multiple edits and deadlines when required.
