Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience, a showreel or portfolio, and proficiency with Canon, Sony, Panasonic, or Nikon cameras, plus editing software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven videography and video editing experience.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in film, video production, media, or communications preferred.
• Strong showreel/portfolio demonstrating videography and editing skills mandatory.
• Proficient with Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon cameras and settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots for campaigns, events, social media, and corporate communications.
• Operate professional camera systems, including DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras, with strong understanding of composition, framing, and movement.
• Capture high-quality footage across formats: interviews, lifestyle content, branded videos, event coverage, and BTS material.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with brand standards and creative direction.
• Perform color correction, sound mixing, and visual consistency across all deliverables.
• Add graphics, subtitles, motion elements, and effects to enhance storytelling.
• Optimize edits for engagement, pacing, and platform-specific performance (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Work closely with producers, content strategists, and designers to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
• Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring gear is in working order and ready for shoots.
• Manage digital assets, including footage backup, labeling, and file storage systems.

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in videography and video editing
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Film, Video Production, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• A strong showreel or portfolio demonstrating videography and editing skills is mandatory
• Proficiency with professional camera systems (e.g., Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon) and settings such as exposure, white balance, and frame rate
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques and sound recording fundamentals (XLR mic setup, gain staging)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut
• Experience with color correction, audio editing, and adding graphics/motion elements
• Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail, composition, and pacing
• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and adapting to different client industries and brand styles
