Job summary

Little Compass Childcare Centre in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a caring, experienced Vice Principal to join our preschool team. Working closely with the Principal, you will help lead the centre, support our teachers and ensure every child receives a safe, happy and high-quality learning experience.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, oversee curriculum delivery with Montessori principles, review plans and progress, and uphold high standards of safety, hygiene and care.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in preschool or early childhood education.
• Experience as a senior teacher, supervisor or team leader is preferred.
• Good knowledge of preschool operations and classroom management.
• Montessori experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal with daily centre operations.

• Support staff coaching, appraisals and training.
• Guide new teachers on curriculum and classroom management.
• Help deliver a high-quality Montessori learning experience.

• Teach and care for a group of children when required.
• Any other duties assigned by the Principal
