Job summary

QL Eco Farm Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a farm operations leader to plan, direct and manage Layer Farm’s operations and production to achieve optimum egg production and quality at the lowest cost.

The role oversees flock health programs for layer chickens and pullets, drives production efficiencies, enforces quality and regulatory compliance, mentors staff, and monitors daily production reports, sanitation, hygiene, and biosecurity across the farms.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science or Animal Husbandry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and manage Layer Farm’s operations and production to achieve the desired optimum egg production output and egg quality at the lowest cost possible.
• Oversee the implementation of flock health and health programs for layer chickens and pullets to avoid the spreading of diseases and ensure consistent product quality.
• Improve and enhance the efficiencies in the production line for cost control and maximise resources to meet production schedules.
• Execution management quality policies, procedure and/or processes to ensure high standards of product quality and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities which include delegation of works, setting goals and review results.
• Prepare and monitor daily and weekly production report.
• Monitor farm sanitation practice, hygiene activities and biosecurity measurements being carry out in the farms.

Job description
