Job summary

VK VEGE & FRUIT (M) SDN BHD in Gelang Patah, Johor, seeks an experienced Factory Operations Manager with hands-on vegetable processing expertise to lead and manage our vegetable processing factory daily.

The role focuses on production efficiency, manpower management, quality control, waste reduction, and cost management, ensuring food safety, GMP, HACCP compliance, and smooth coordination with other departments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in vegetable processing or fresh-cut vegetable production.
• Experience managing factory operations and production teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily production activities in the vegetable processing factory.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet customer orders on time.
• Lead production supervisors, team leaders and factory workers.
• Monitor output, manpower efficiency, and operating performance.
• Control raw material usage, wastage, labour costs and expenses.
• Establish and improve SOPs; ensure compliance with food safety standards.
