Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a Senior UX lead in Kuala Lumpur to drive design excellence across products. You will mentor a growing UX team, own the Design System, and partner with Product, Development, and QA to deliver customer-focused features from discovery to delivery.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 8+ years in UX/UI and design leadership, and a deep understanding of accessibility and design tokens. KL city area location and standard working hours are expected.

Qualifications

Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design, UX thinking, research and leadership.
Proven experience establishing, maintaining, or governing a Design System with tokens, components, accessibility, and docs.
Deep knowledge of user-centered design, design thinking, IA, interaction design, usability testing, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor UX designers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative design culture.
Manage UX resources, priorities, and project delivery across multiple initiatives.
Oversee UX projects from discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and validation through delivery.
Ensure design quality, accessibility, implementation consistency, and adherence to UX and Design System standards across products.
Drive user research, usability testing, and data-informed design improvements.
Partner with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to prioritise and deliver customer-focused solutions.
Own and govern the Design System, including standards, components, design tokens, accessibility, documentation, and adoption.
