Qualifications

Used Car Sales Consultant / Pre-Owned Car Sales Advisor

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Used Car Sales Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of pre-owned vehicles, developing new prospects and guiding customers through the car-buying process.

If you enjoy meeting people, have an interest in cars and are motivated by sales, this role offers the opportunity to build your experience in used car sales while working closely with customers throughout their vehicle purchase journey.

Key responsibilities

Initiate and drive sales activities to achieve and exceed assigned used vehicle sales targets.

Source and develop new prospects through showroom walk-ins, referrals, online platforms, social media and other channels.

Follow up with prospects and convert enquiries into sales.

Understand customers' needs, preferences and budget to recommend suitable used vehicles.

Conduct professional vehicle presentations and test drives.

Promote and sell related products and services, including financing, insurance, accessories, warranty and other value-added products.

Maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Ensure accurate completion of sales documentation and compliance with company policies and SOPs.

Manage the vehicle delivery process to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.

Participate in roadshows, showroom events, digital marketing activities and other sales campaigns.

Keep updated on used car market trends, competitor pricing and product knowledge.

Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

What we're looking for

Experience in sales, preferably in automotive or retail sales.

Experience in used car sales, vehicle trade-in or automotive retail will be an advantage.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent problem-solving and customer service orientation

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to communicate effectively

Passionate about cars and the automotive industry

Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven
