Qualifications

• BSME/MSME with thermodynamics/heat transfer or refrigeration focus.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience in ultra-cold refrigeration systems.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, thermal simulations, and system modeling.
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, and heat exchangers.
• Experience in the semiconductor or capital equipment industry is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ultra-cold thermal chiller systems utilizing advanced refrigeration technologies.
• Carry out thermal and mechanical analyses to verify system performance and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate refrigeration systems into thermal test equipment.
• Conduct testing and validation of components and systems to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing and field service teams.
• Maintain adherence to industry standards and safety regulations in refrigeration system design.
• Use SolidWorks and thermal simulation tools for system modeling and optimization.
• Estimate design costs and coordinate with system engineering, application engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure the design meets intended requirements.
