You will build and maintain design systems, collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering, and apply accessibility and privacy-aware patterns across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
Conduct user research, define user journeys, and create wireframes and interactive prototypes to solve complex user flows for web and mobile applications.
Design and enhance Web and App interfaces from product requirements and user needs, delivering clean, intuitive, and high-converting digital experiences.
Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI components to ensure consistency and efficiency, and to support smoother handoff to engineering, including AI-assisted development workflows.
Ensure design consistency across iOS, Android, and Web platforms, adhering to respective platform design standards (Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, responsive web).
Shape design strategies and visual direction based on product goals, user needs, and business priorities.
Stay current with design trends (e.g., minimalist aesthetics, typography, micro-interactions) and recommend adoption where it genuinely improves usability, not just visual novelty.
Contribute structured design specifications, including component states and documentation, that support efficient engineering handoff, especially for AI-assisted development workflows.
Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineers throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept to completion.
Present and communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams.
Ensure design outputs align with accessibility standards and data-privacy-aware UX patterns, particularly given the healthcare context of the platform.
Maintain proper documentation and version control of design assets and design system components for consistency across releases.
At least 1 year of experience in UX, UI/UX, interaction design, or a related field.
Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
Strong understanding of user experience principles, with excellent attention to detail and a product-oriented mindset.
Familiar with iOS, Android, and Web design standards.
Strong sense of layout, color, typography, and visual consistency.
Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library is a strong advantage.
Exposure to structuring design specs for engineering handoff (e.g., design tokens, documented component states) is a plus, especially for AI-assisted development workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience using AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, ChatGPT, Claude).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and drive projects from concept to completion.

CARiNG Pharmacy was established in 1994 by 5 pharmacists, who were course-mates in the School of Pharmacy, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
The first CARiNG Outlet opened in Taman Muda, Cheras. At that time, the awareness of community pharmacy services was still low. The founders took these important steps to instill the value of pharmacists in the healthcare profession by:
Providing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week full time pharmacist service.
Providing easily accessible pharmacist counseling service, free blood pressure checks and other health checks at a minimum fee.
Designing the store with a modern, open concept to maximise interaction with customers and merchandise. With this successful concept, CARiNG Pharmacy is growing fast within the Peninsular Malaysia.
