Willpower Technology Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya, Selangor seeks a skilled Lathe Operator to read blueprints and work orders, set up and operate lathe machines, and finish parts to spec.
You will inspect finished products with gauges and micrometers, adjust settings for speed and feed, maintain and clean machinery, and document any defects while adhering to safety rules.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or work orders to determine the specifications and sequence of operations
Setting up, operating and maintaining lathe machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and finishing parts
Inspecting the finished products to ensure conformity to specifications and accuracy of dimensions
Adjusting the machine settings to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as making sure the machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product
Maintaining machinery, including cleaning and oiling parts, and replacing worn or damaged components as necessary
Monitoring lathe operation, making minor adjustments as necessary
Using gauges and micrometers to measure and mark workpieces
Observing all safety rules and regulations, including wearing required personal safety equipment
Handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
