Role
Set up and operate CNCAuto-lathemachines according to specifications and production yield
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with other machinists and engineers to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
Follow safety procedures, workplace regulations, and keep the work area organised (5S principles).
Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed according to the Company’s ISO 9001 requirements.
Mentor trainee machinists, provide guidance and training on best practices when required.
Requirements
Minimum SPM or equivalent with at least 1 year experience in machining or CNC Auto-latheoperations.
Basic understanding of machining processes and latheoperations.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of G-code programming and machine setup.
Experience in micro parts fabrication and precision measuring instruments such as toolmakers microscope, micrometres, etc. will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
