Job summary

Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a Head Planning and Preparation TA Specialist to lead Turnaround planning and readiness initiatives.

You will coordinate TA scope, scheduling, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment, aligning with operations, engineering, procurement and contractors to ensure safe, on-time execution. The role requires a degree or diploma in engineering or project management, with strong planning, organizational, and communication skills to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance Management, or relevant discipline.
• Experience in Turnaround, maintenance planning, shutdown planning, or project preparation advantageous.
• Strong planning, coordination, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
• Good understanding of maintenance and turnaround work processes.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work scopes, contractors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Turnaround planning and preparation activities from initial planning through execution readiness.
• Develop and review TA work scopes, schedules, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure TA work scopes are identified and prepared.
• Monitor progress against timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, contractors, and resources for TA execution.
• Review work packs, methods, procedures, and other preparation documents for readiness.
• Identify planning gaps and risks and recommend actions.
• Maintain TA planning documentation, schedules, and readiness records.
• Conduct planning meetings with internal teams and contractors.
• Ensure TA activities comply with HSSE, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements.
