Job summary

Ocean Vantage Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a Scheduler Executive to support planning, scheduling, and monitoring of engineering, maintenance and project activities.

The role will coordinate work schedules, resources, timelines, and progress to ensure activities are completed efficiently and within the planned timeframe. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Project, QA/QC, and contractors to maintain accurate schedules, monitor progress,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in scheduling, planning, project controls, or maintenance planning preferred.
• Strong understanding of scheduling principles and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update schedules for engineering, maintenance, turnaround, and project activities.
• Coordinate with departments and contractors to obtain work progress and scheduling information.
• Monitor actual progress against approved schedules and identify delays, constraints, and potential schedule impacts.
• Prepare regular schedule updates, progress reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for Management.
• Assist in planning manpower, equipment, materials, and other resources required for scheduled activities.
• Coordinate work priorities and timelines with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams.
• Track key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical activities.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and recommend appropriate recovery or mitigation actions.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records, baseline schedules, revisions, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in planning and coordination meetings and provide scheduling updates and recommendations.
• Support turnaround/shutdown planning and other major maintenance activities when required.
• Ensure scheduling activities are aligned with Company procedures, project requirements, and HSSE expectations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
