Job summary

Technip Energies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Building Architect to manage architectural design and ensure compliance with client requirements, codes, and standards while maintaining budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with 10+ years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience in oil and gas projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Good command in English (verbal & writing)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with other modelling software is a plus
• Good experience in oil and gas architectural design

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural design and ensure compliance with Client's requirements and codes and standards while maintaining budget and schedule.
• Develop architectural design layouts, basis of design, specifications and CAD drawings.
• Prepare, update and check calculations for architectural design and other specifications on schedule and within allocated manhours/budget.
• Well versed in SOLAS / IMO / NORSOK or related rules and regulations for offshore facility architectural design.
• Ensure all architectural design and drawings meet contractual technical specifications, quality and HSE objectives of the project.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to drafters and designers.
• Experience in designing and developing industrial buildings especially in oil & gas onshore plant and refinery areas would be an advantage.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and work with minimum supervision.

About The Job

Manage architectural design and ensure the project complies with Client's requirements and Codes and Standards while maintaining budget and schedule.

Main Accountabilities

• Able to perform and assist various projects undertaken by the Company.
• Able to perform and develop Architectural designlayouts, basis of design, specifications and CAD drawings.
• Perform any other tasks delegated by the Lead Engineer/ Project Leadfrom time to time.
• Prepare, update and check calculations for architectural design and other specifications on schedule and within the allocated manhour/budget.
• Well versed inSOLAS / IMO/ NORSOKoranyrelated rules and regulationswith regards to theoffshore facility architectural design.
• Excellent in time management, interfaces and coordination's skills with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
• Ensure allarchitecturaldesign anddrawings meetcontractual technical specifications,quality and HSE objectives of the project.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and able to work with under minimum supervision.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to drafter and designer.

About you:

The candidate should have thorough knowledge and experience in performingarchitectural designin compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The candidate will work with Engineers and Designers both within and outside the discipline as needed to ensure deliverables are delivered.

Must have:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Good command in English (verbal & writing)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software. Familiar with other modelling software is an advantage.
• Good experience in oil and gas architectural design
