Job summary

Yee Ping Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Lorry/Truck Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will perform regular servicing, inspection and preventive maintenance of company lorries and trucks, diagnose and repair mechanical problems, and attend to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repairs.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience with heavy-duty diesel engines, knowledge of Nissan and/or Mercedes-Benz trucks, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a lorry/truck mechanic or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty diesel engines.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, gearbox, clutch, brakes, suspension, steering and differentials.
• Able to diagnose and repair mechanically independent.
• Willing to work overtime or respond to emergency breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular servicing, inspection and preventive maintenance of company lorries and trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving diesel engines and truck systems.
• Carry out engine repairs and major overhauls when required.
• Identify faulty components and inform on spare part needs.

Yee Ping Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and responsible Lorry/Truck Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of company lorries and trucks, diagnose and repair mechanical problems, and attend to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repairs.

Key responsibilities

Perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of company lorries and trucks.

Diagnose and repair mechanic problems involving diesel engines, gearbox, clutch, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other truck components.

Carry out minor and major mechanical repairs, including engine repairs and overhauls where required.

Identify faulty components, recommend necessary replacements, and inform management of required spare parts.

Attend to vehicle breakdowns and carry out roadside or emergency repairs when required.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the workshop tools.

About you

Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a lorry/truck mechanic or in a similar role.

Hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair and maintenance.

Experience with Nissan and/or Mercedes-Benz trucks is highly preferred.

Good knowledge of diesel engines, gearbox, clutch, brake systems, suspension, steering, and differential systems.

Able to perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs independently.

Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Willing to work overtime or attend emergency breakdowns when required.
