Job description

This role involves delivering automotive training across the Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan regions, covering theory, demonstrations, and practical sessions. You will manage training delivery according to modules, lesson plans, and schedules while ensuring compliance with Academy standards. The position requires technical expertise in automotive technology, hybrid and electric vehicles, and battery technology, with responsibility for assessment, competency evaluation, and ongoing technical development of training materials and staff.

Key responsibilities

Conduct theory, practical, and oral/quiz assessments to evaluate participant competency against assessment criteria

Deliver training sessions including theory, demonstrations, and practical exercises according to modules and lesson plans

Manage classroom discipline, participant engagement, and ensure training meets Academy standards

Provide feedback, coaching, and identify participants requiring remedial training

Maintain and monitor training equipment, vehicles, diagnostic tools, and simulators for safety and proper condition

Develop, improve, and provide training materials, practical exercises, case studies, and troubleshooting scenarios

Conduct on-site training, mobile training, and technical coaching across assigned regions

Perform regular visits to branches, Pitstops, and training locations to monitor work standards and staff competency

Prepare attendance records, training reports, assessment results, and competency reports for compliance and audit purposes

Support Train-the-Trainer programs for new trainers and identify potential technical talent in the region

About you

Current knowledge of automotive technology, hybrid and electric vehicle systems, and battery technology

Ability to conduct assessments and provide competency evaluations

Experience in developing and improving training modules and materials

Understanding of Workshop Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and EV High Voltage Safety protocols

Capability to deliver technical coaching and troubleshooting support

Ability to prepare and maintain training documentation and records

Willingness to travel to assigned locations including Langkawi as required by operational and training schedules
