Job summary

Teleflex Medical Sdn Bhd, located in Kamunting, Perak, Malaysia, seeks a dedicated Training Specialist for its Global Operations manufacturing workforce. The role focuses on delivering multi-functional training, certifying program content, and maintaining records across all production lines.

You will collaborate with Operations Training Managers and Learning & Development, conduct audits, develop training materials, and drive continuous improvement by identifying competency gaps and streamlining

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall Training for multi-functional manufacturing operation.
• Support the writing and administering of Certification exams.
• Keep and maintain training records of all manufacturing personnel.
• Perform audits as required.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules with Operations Training Managers and Learning & Development Department.
• Trains manufacturing operators on a variety of manufacturing processes at workstations and in the classroom, including setup, operation, cleaning, troubleshooting, documentation handling, material handling.
• Develops training methodology, procedures and materials.
• Assists in developing new effective production techniques, training on the new techniques and their implementation in production.
• Ensures employees adhere to procedures and guidelines established by the company to minimize errors and safety risks.
• Evaluates progress of each employee during the training period and upon the completion of the training; provides feedback to the employee on their progress.
• Assesses the employee’s competency level against the requirements established by the operations department for each process or skill.
• Identifies gaps in the employee’s skill level thru Skill Matrix to determine the need for additional training and/or performance management; communicates the identified gaps to the immediate supervisor or operations department.
• Required to meet on a daily basis with all newly hired employees thru DL Learning Curve tracking mechanism.
• Maintains training database, records of training and other documentation inclusive revised or changed as training needed.
• Develop criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of training activities.
• Identify potential quality problems, compliance gaps, and possible process efficiency improvements to production management.
