Job summary

Arkema in Malaysia seeks a trainee to support the HSEQ documentation and IMS maintenance, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. You will assist in audit preparations and cross-department training while developing awareness of HSEQ procedures.

You will engage with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 concepts, contributing to continuous improvement. A proactive, detail‑oriented, and collaborative mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining HSEQ documentation and records in compliance with ISO and company standards.
• Assist in maintaining the effectiveness of Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Support internal and external audit preparations, periodic reviews, and follow-up actions to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures across departments.
• Assist in awareness campaigns and training related to HSEQ standards and procedures.
