Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad Malaysia is seeking a Traffic Management Supervisor to oversee on-site traffic operations, ensure client requirement compliance, and manage coordination among subcontractors and workers.

You will conduct toolbox talks, train staff, review traffic management plans (TMPs), and maintain records such as site diaries and weekly reports while upholding safety standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Traffic Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certifications in Traffic Management or Safety Standards would be an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in traffic management or highway maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Traffic Toolbox and rollcall to ensure adequate numbers of workers on site.
• Explain project requirements clearly to subcontractors, vendors, supervisors and workers.
• Implement traffic management activities per client requirements and approved drawings.
• Conduct weekly compliance checklists and document records for internal/external parties.
• Inspect sites to guide subordinates and propose improvement processes.
• On-the-Job-Training sessions on safety and update procedures as needed.
• Lead progress meetings with subcontractors and vendors and document outcomes.
• Prepare site diary, joint measurement sheet, weekly report for claims within deadline.
• Maintain high compliance with SOP and company safety acts.
• Review TMP/work program for lane closures before activation.
