Job summary

Asia Baru Construction Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Traffic Management Officer to develop and implement TMP and CTMCP plans on construction sites in Malaysia.

The role requires liaising with local authorities for approvals and permits, supervising traffic control devices, and coordinating traffic controllers to ensure TMP compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, plus a valid CTMO certificate recognized by CIDB, and 2–10 years

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil/constructive fields required.
• Experience in road construction or traffic management preferred.
• Knowledge of local traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and CTMCPs.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain approvals and permits.
• Supervise traffic control devices and ensure proper placement.
• Coordinate traffic controllers and ensure TMP compliance.
• Monitor traffic flow and site conditions for hazards.
• Prepare traffic management reports and maintain records.
• Respond to traffic incidents and implement ERP.
