Job summary

BIT (formerly Matrixport) seeks a detail-oriented operations professional in Malaysia to support institutional clients and ensure accurate trade communications. You will handle client inquiries, KYC-related communications, and collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and IT to resolve issues and improve workflows.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and stakeholding with internal and external parties, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any disciplines.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial operations, client service, or a related role (institutional client experience preferred).
• client-facing and/or middle-office experience, or proven experience working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders;
• Excellent communication skills, operational awareness, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Fluency in English; Mandarin is advantageous due to need to work with Mandarin and English stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage institutional client inquiries, orders, and KYC-related communications with professionalism and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, and IT teams to resolve issues and streamline operational workflows.
• Support trading operations including quotation and order creation.
• Ensure proper communication and documentation of trade instructions across systems and stakeholders.
• Oversee post-trading activities such as daily reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and client service standards.
