Job summary

BIT, a global digital asset financial services group, seeks an experienced treasury professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage payments, settlements, and counterparty relationships.

You will open and supervise crypto wallets across multiple platforms, verify transactions, and support month-end reporting. The role requires 5–7 years in treasury or payments and a related degree; English and Mandarin skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or related disciplines.
• 5-7 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, middle-office or payments processing.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, trade settlements and funds movement processes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Shift-based rotation and cross-timezone liaison experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting various aspects of the organization’s business activities and counterparty relationships.
• Opening and managing cryptocurrency (sub) accounts / wallets held across platforms of various counterparties.
• Handling and approving payment instructions raised by business partners; verifying and cross-checking payment amounts and wallet information.
• Completing payment processes, releasing funds to counterparties, ensuring due diligence on procedures.
• Occasional evening/weekend work to liaise with counterparties across time zones; support month-end reporting.

• Operating with teamwork and flexibility, sometimes during evening hours or weekends/public holidays to liaise with counterparties from different time-zones;
• Supporting month-end reporting processes.

• 5-7 years of experience in treasury, banking operations / middle-office and/or payments processing;
• Strong knowledge and experience in treasury, trade settlements and funds movement processes;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Shift-based rotation;
• Diligent and detail-minded;
• Team player with demonstrated ability to communicate and partner with internal / external parties;
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous, due to need to work closely with Mandarin as well as English speaking stakeholders.
