Job description

Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for supporting the development and execution of trade marketing strategies and activities across assigned sales channels. The role works closely with Sales and Marketing as well as other cross-functional teams to translate category and marketing strategies into effective in-market programs that drive sales growth, product visibility, distribution, shopper engagement, and execution excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of trade and channel marketing plans aligned with company, category, and brand objectives
• Assist in developing trade and channel-specific strategies for Modern Trade, General Trade, Convenience, Wholesale, E-Commerce, or other assigned channels
• Analyse trade and channel performance, shopper behaviour, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities
• Plan, coordinate, and execute trade promotions, campaigns, product launches, and channel activation programs
• Develop promotional mechanics and activities together with Sales and Marketing teams
• Coordinate the preparation and deployment of POSM, displays, promotional materials, and other visibility assets
• Monitor execution at store and customer level to ensure activities are implemented according to agreed timelines and standards
• Conduct regular market visits to evaluate execution quality, product visibility, pricing, promotions, and competitor activities
• Work closely with Sales to understand trade and channel customer requirements and develop relevant marketing support
• Track and analyse sales performance by channel, customer, category, SKU, and promotional activity

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Trade Marketing.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or a fast-moving commercial environment would be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Good understanding of trade marketing, promotions, merchandising, and FMCG sales channels
• Ability to analyse sales, trade, customer, SKU, and promotional performance data
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Good planning and organizational ability
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and timely execution
