Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Trade Finance Process Analyst in Malaysia. You will streamline workflows, analyze complex processes, and implement improvements while collaborating with Relationship Managers and stakeholders to meet regulatory and service standards.

You will read and input Chinese characters for AML name screening and contribute to a high-performing team in a growth-focused banking environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin (reading, writing & speaking) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field.
• Proven track record of process improvement and implementation.
• Experience with process mapping tools and Lean or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Perform transaction processing duties as instructed to meet productivity and service standards.
• Work with team to deliver superior customer service by meeting SLAs.
• Ensure awareness and full compliance with trade finance rules, policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Provide technical support to Relationship Managers on trade finance matters.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions through data analysis and experience.
• Assist team management in developing team members through coaching and support.
• Support the rollout of quality management systems and other initiatives by the Bank.
• Ensure due care on AML, sanctions compliance, and transaction screening with training.

What you do

• Perform transaction processing duties as instructed by the team management in accordance to the relevant procedures, guidelines, instructions and standards set to meet the productivity and service standards set.
• Work with team to deliver superior customer service by driving operational performance ie. meeting SLAs - timeliness and accuracy, reducing costs, driving operational efficiency, and reducing operational risks
• Ensure awareness and full compliance of trade finance’s rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and practices.
• Provide technical support to Relationship Managers of trade finance related matters.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience, and precedent.
• Assist the team management in the development of team members by guiding, coaching, and supporting other team members.
• Support the roll‑out of appropriate quality management systems in the and other initiatives by the Bank.
• Ensure due care and diligence is exercised on day-to-day operational matters relating to Trade Based Money Laundering, sanction compliance, transaction screening, by acquiring relevant knowledge and training; thus, providing support to superiors and subordinate.

Who you are
