Job summary

OCBC Group in Kuala Lumpur invites a Trade Finance Process Analyst to join our operations transformation initiative and drive efficiency for customers and colleagues.

You will analyse complex workflows, map processes, implement improvements, support Relationship Managers, and ensure compliance with trade finance policies, guidelines and regulatory standards while developing teammates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of process improvement and implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with process mapping tools and techniques (Lean or Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Perform transaction processing duties per procedures to meet productivity and service standards.
• Work with the team to deliver superior customer service, meet SLAs for timeliness and accuracy, and drive efficiency.
• Ensure awareness and full compliance with trade finance rules, policies, guidelines, and practices.
• Provide technical support to Relationship Managers on trade finance matters.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis and precedent.
• Support the development of team members and rollout of quality management initiatives, including AML/sanctions controls.

What you do- Perform transaction processing duties as instructed by the team management in accordance to the relevant procedures, guidelines, instructions and standards set to meet the productivity and service standards set.- Work with team to deliver superior customer service by driving operational performance ie. meeting SLAs - timeliness and accuracy, reducing costs, driving operational efficiency, and reducing operational risks- Ensure awareness and full compliance of trade finance’s rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, and practices.- Provide technical support to Relationship Managers of trade finance related matters.- Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience, and precedent.- Assist the team management in the development of team members by guiding, coaching, and supporting other team members.- Support the roll-out of appropriate quality management systems in the and other initiatives by the Bank.- Ensure due care and diligence is exercised on day-to-day operational matters relating to Trade Based Money Laundering, sanction compliance, transaction screening, by acquiring relevant knowledge and training; thus, providing support to superiors and subordinate.
