Trade & Compliance (Logistic Analysis) - Flex Senai, Johor

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Trade & Compliance (Logistic Analysis) located in Flex Senai, Johor.

Reporting to the Logistic Manager the Trade & Compliance (Logistic Analysis) role is responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance with applicable international trade, import/export, customs and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will monitor trade activities, maintain accurate documentation and records, support customs related matters, and identify opportunities to improve trade compliance processes and control.

What a typical day looks like:

Current Trade & Compliance headcount has resigned; replacement required to ensure business continuity and maintain approved headcount.

Trade & Compliance function responsible for critical daily activities: import/export coordination, customs clearance, customs documentation, permit & license management, compliance with trade regulations and company requirements.

Current team already supporting ongoing daily trade activities; insufficient capacity to absorb additional responsibilities. Redistribution of workload may impact response time and execution of other critical activities.

Position required to ensure timely follow‑up and coordination with internal stakeholders, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and external parties to avoid shipment delays and compliance issues.

Handling exemption for machinery and material for export.

MITI application submission for country origin Israel.

Manage shipping document Agilent for 3rd party warehouse - Export Shipment ( ETE shipment process ).

Prepare Custom Monthly Report (M1,M2,Value Added & Subcons)

Prepare Custom Yearly Report

Handling of Total Part count EDM + Material + Packaging: 21,649 Part Number, 103 commodity submissions. Finish Good: 3,413-part Number, 3 commodity submissions.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Typically requires a Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials or related field.

A background in electronics manufacturing is desired.

Good understanding-of import/export processes and customs regulations.

Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, or government regulatory agencies is an advantage.
