Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a technician to operate multiple tooling equipment types including wire cut, lathe and grinding. The role requires independence, accountability, and meeting daily departmental targets.

You will use quality measuring tools, troubleshoot and fabricate quality tools to spec. Responsibilities include setting up for model changes, reporting any equipment issues, performing daily 5S, sharing workload, and ensuring compliance with EHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate tooling equipment (wire cut, lathe, grinding) and meet daily targets.
• Use quality measuring equipment to ensure tools meet specs.
• Troubleshoot, modify and fabricate quality tools as required to meet specifications.
• Perform daily 5S in the workplace and share workload as needed.
• Prepare setup including FA for model changes and inform supervisor of non-performing equipment.
• Comply with EHS requirements and monitor technician performance and attendance.
