Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a tooling technician to operate various tooling equipment including wire cut, lathe, and grinding. You will work independently to meet daily targets while ensuring quality and process adherence.

You will perform 5S in the workplace, assist with model changes, report non-performing equipment, and comply with all EHS requirements to support continuous improvement across the line.

• Work independently and meet daily departmental/line targets and objectives.

Job description

• 1) Responsible to operate several type of tooling equipment i.e. wire cut, lathe, grinding etc
• 2)Able to work independently and takes responsibility Meeting daily departmental/line target and objective
• 3)Able to use quality measuring equipment Troubleshooting, modify and fabricate of Quality tools to meet the required spec Seek for continues tools improvements .
• 4)Perform daily 5'S in work place
• 5)Share the work load during the absence of the people.
• 6)Prepare the set up including FA for model change
• 7)To inform the superior if there is any equipment that Is not performing for corrective actions or creating quality problems in the line Monitor technician work performance, discipline and attendance and take necessary action when require
• 8)Comply to company EHS requirement
• 9)Perform other task assigned by superior or company from time to time
