Job summary

TNG Digital Remittance, a fintech arm connecting Malaysians to the world, seeks a treasury professional to oversee cash management, FX risk, liquidity and banking operations. You will monitor daily cash balances, forecast funding needs, and maintain strong relationships with Correspondence Payout Partners.

Three to six years' experience in treasury or related finance, strong ownership, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in treasury, FX, liquidity management or cash operations.
• Ability to manage daily liquidity, settlements, FX transactions and operational demands.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with banks, finance, compliance and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast funding requirements with Correspondence Payout Partners.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity in the accounts maintained with Correspondence Payout Partners.
• Execute daily cash management operations, including payments, transfers, and conversion.
• Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions on Treasury matters.
• Negotiate banking services, FX and fees to minimize costs and enhance services.
• Oversee local and foreign bank account management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports to Group Finance department; coordinate with auditors.
• Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk and FX risk; implement mitigations.

What You'll Do:

Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast funding requirements with all Correspondence Payout Partners.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity in the accounts maintained Correspondence Payout Partners.
• Execute daily cash management operations, including payments, transfers, and conversion.

Bank Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions on Treasury matter.
• Negotiate banking services, FX and fees to minimize costs and enhance services.
• Oversee local and foreign bank account management.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit reports to Group Finance department
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and examinations.
• Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to manage FX risk.
• Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting FX & treasury operations.

Revenue Optimization:

• Monitor and manage FX revenue returns and others revenue sources.
• Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for FX revenue growth and cost reduction.
• Conduct comparison and market analysis of competitor’s remittance rate.
• Determine the possible Forex margin and fix the Company’s counter rate for the day according to (XXX/USD) against (USD/MYR) conversion.

Role Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Treasury, FX, liquidity management, cash management, banking operations, or financial services, preferably within the remittance or payments industry.
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in managing Treasury operations, funding requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
• Hands‑on and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing daily liquidity, settlements, FX transactions, and operational demands.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess funding needs, optimize liquidity positions, identify risks, and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with banks, business partners, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and senior management.
• Knowledge of Treasury controls, cash forecasting, FX risk management, settlement processes, and regulatory requirements within the remittance, payments, or financial services sector.
