Job summary

HP Malaysia is seeking a Technical Specialist to drive TIJ2.5M FCI tooling deployment, equipment readiness, and ramp-up activities. You will lead installation, qualification, and maintenance, coordinating with engineering, planning, and quality to ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required with commensurate work experience.
Typically 6–8 years of related work experience in FCI equipment diagnosis or technical repair.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive equipment readiness and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and testing equipment.
Plan and oversee system installations, ensuring accurate progress reporting.
Troubleshoot non-operational equipment and implement modifications as instructed.
Conduct facility inspections and document findings affecting operations.
Support continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns and implementing fixes.
Adhere to checklists and up-to-date procedures before work begins.
Provide mentorship and escalation support across the team.
Identify improvement opportunities and ensure robust business controls.
