Job summary

KUKA Robot Automation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented RTR Accountant who can work in Petaling Jaya. The role covers end-to-end general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, tax compliance, cash flow, and audit support in a multinational shared services environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in RTR/GL, strong IFRS knowledge, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and excellent English and Thai communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• 2-3 years in Financial Accounting, GL, RTR, Audit or related finance function.
• Experience in SSC/GBS or multinational environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and taxation requirements; strong Excel/SAP skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end month-end closing activities with journal postings and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain monthly cash flow reports and rolling forecasts; support treasury reporting.
• Coordinate foreign currency hedging activities with Treasury and banking partners.
• Support tax compliance: indirect tax, withholding tax, SST/VAT/GST filings.
• Ensure records align with local GAAP, IFRS, policies and controls.
• Assist audits with schedules, reconciliations, and audit queries.
• Review vendor master data for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in process improvement to enhance efficiency and controls.
