Job summary

mnosys sdn bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Semiconductor Test Engineer to resolve test setup issues and collaborate with Planners on setup plans. You will make engineering decisions and propose creative solutions to ensure device test performance meets expectations.

Responsibilities include supporting test operations, analyzing yield and equipment utilization, and preparing technical proposals for customers to initiate improvement programs. Willingness to relocate to Singapore is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in spoken Chinese to communicate with suppliers in China.
• Degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in semiconductor test, product engineering or test operations is preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Singapore; work permit will be arranged.

• Coordinate tester time, lot scheduling and hardware availability with Planning.
• Work with Customer Service on product code, test flow prep, lot entry and DB updates.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality requirements and preventive actions.

Make engineering decisions and recommend creative solutions to ensure assigned device test performance meets expectations

Support test operations and sustaining activities to ensure smooth production and on-time shipment delivery

Provide value-added engineering by reviewing and analysing yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance

Prepare technical proposals and presentations for customers to initiate improvement programs

Collaborate with customers on test program and test hardware correlation and tester release activities

Coordinate with Planning for tester time, lot scheduling, and hardware/program availability

Work with Customer Service on product code and test flow preparation, lot parameter entry, and database updates

Collaborate with QA to ensure quality requirements and preventive actions are implemented effectively

Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional activities related to semiconductor test operations

Requirements

Mandatory fluency in spoken Chinese to communicate effectively with suppliers in China

Willing to relocate to Singapore (Work permit will be applied for by the employer)

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

Relevant experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, or test operations

Knowledge of ATE test methodology, semiconductor test processes, ATE equipment, and test programming

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
