Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Malaysia (Penang) seeks a Test Process Technician to install and maintain manufacturing equipment and sustain performance through continuous improvement. You will validate deviation lots, determine root causes, and escalate issues to engineering while supporting troubleshooting on the floor.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic/Electrical Engineering is required.

Some understanding of Semiconductor Testing processes will be added
A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Leveraging AI tools to retrieve technical information and support troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Validate test floor deviation lots and investigate deviations.
Determine root causes of test-related issues and classify problems appropriately.
Provide proper disposition of affected lots and follow up on corrective actions.
Escalate issues to relevant engineering or support teams when required.
Debug testing-related issues and support manufacturing during troubleshooting activities.
Provide guidance to manufacturing personnel on lot handling and testing requirements.
Monitor test process performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, quality, and productivity.
