Micron Technology Malaysia in Penang invites skilled technicians to join our advanced manufacturing team. You will troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment, dismantle and rebuild systems, and support ramp-ups with precise instrumentation and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical or electronic/electrical engineering is required.
• Experience in semiconductor testing equipment processes is preferred.
• Hands-on experience and deep knowledge are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Operate test and diagnostic equipment to conduct checkouts.
• Rebuild equipment as needed and support ramp-up.
• Assist engineers with equipment modifications and upgrades.
• Manage test equipment transfer, setup, and buyoff for ramp events.
• Maintain uptime through hands-on troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
• Perform scheduled PM and calibrations as planned.
• Setup equipment, buyoff, and conversions as required.
• Handle spare parts, tools, and meters inventory.
